Complete Website Refresh for the CSH Nursery School

Cold Spring Harbor Nursery School came to me with a website that was beautiful in its day, but had become outdated both visually and functionally. The content no longer reflected the school’s current offerings, and the original platform made even small updates difficult for the team to manage. They needed a fresh start: something more welcoming, more intuitive, and easier to maintain behind the scenes.

We rebuilt the site from the ground up on Squarespace, streamlining the navigation and reducing the number of pages to create a more focused, user-friendly experience. A clear FAQ page was added to address common questions, and we brought the enrollment process online to make registration easier for families and lighten the administrative load for staff. The program pages were rewritten and restructured into skimmable sections so parents could quickly find the information they need.

Finally, we refreshed the color palette and imagery to bring more energy, warmth, and clarity to the experience while still honoring the tradition and values that have shaped the school for generations.

The result is a site that feels grounded, joyful, and easy to use. It reflects the nurturing spirit of the school and gives the team full control to update it with confidence as the school continues to grow.
